Goober Drilling LLC is the successor to a business that was formed in 1986 and is headquartered in Stillwater, Oklahoma.  Goober Drilling is engaged in contract drilling of oil and gas wells for exploration and production companies.  Goober Drilling is a leading drilling contractor in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins of Oklahoma. Goober Drilling also has a significant presence in the Barnett Shale of Texas and a growing presence in the Fayetteville Shale of Arkansas and Haynesville Shale of Texas/Louisiana.
